The primary aim of this educational project is to provide a platform for young workers’ representatives to actively engage in shaping changes in the labour market. The project will enable them to discuss the various challenges faced by young workers, raise awareness of these issues, exchange best practices and experiences, and develop (joint) strategies for action. A key topic is the role of internships in addressing skills shortages by providing practical experience and essential qualifications to young people.
The project emphasizes the importance of ensuring high-quality internships that meet the needs of both interns and employers. In that context the following questions are in the focus of the project:
- How can internships be designed to make a meaningful contribution to solving skills shortages?
- What measures need to be taken to improve the quality and effectiveness of internships and help young people transition smoothly into the workforce?
