The purpose of this project is to analyse the status of the rule of law in the European Union, particularly with regard to workers’ rights. In addition, it will also study the relationship between democracy in the workplace and democratic participation in society generally. Finally, the seminar will develop recommendations for involving the social partners in shaping policies, and also for maintaining the rule of law in the future of the European Union.
