This project addresses health and safety risks and opportunities associated with digital transformation in the workplace. It aligns with the EU-OSHA campaign Safe and Healthy Work in the Digital Age. The seminar aims to integrate workplace health and safety into broader debates on digitalization and support representatives of workers’ organisations in addressing emerging challenges.
The objectives of the seminar are:
- To present the five priority areas of the 2023–2025 EU-OSHA campaign;
- To define risks and opportunities related to the digital transformation of work;
- To identify challenges for social partners;
- To develop a set of actions for social partners at national and European levels, based on best practices, to mitigate risks.
The seminar program includes a presentation on the EU-OSHA campaign, country-specific insights into workplace digitalization, and a debate between employers and trade unions to identify challenges for social partners. Participants will review best practices from the campaign and develop a comprehensive action plan to address risks and foster safer workplaces.
The seminar aims to provide social partners with deeper insights into emerging risks linked to workplace digitalization. It will equip participants with arguments and strategies to mitigate or counteract these risks at both national and European levels.
