The project examines the implementation of the European Education Area, focusing on the quality of education as a key factor for EU development. Key questions to be addressed include:
- Are education systems keeping pace with the visions outlined in the European Education Area framework?
- How is education evolving in the EU?
- What are the systems for financing education, preparing teachers for the profession, and organizing and assessing education?
- How are social partners involved in these processes?
The program is divided into two parts:
Part 1 will focus on the implementation of the European Education Area’s vision in specific countries, with particular attention to the quality of education as a guarantor of EU development. Representatives from five countries will share their experiences with platform members and present:
- Diagnosed barriers (economic and mental) to implementing the vision of the school of the future;
- Legal solutions in education aimed at building the school of the future;
- Systemic solutions adopted for building the school of the future.
Part 2 will address the presented best practices and their potential application in other countries. It will also discuss possible tasks for trade unions at the European, national, and local levels.
