The project has several objectives to address the challenges in the area of labour qualification in Europe. First, the gaps in labour qualification are to be identified and the economic and social effects of the lack of qualification are to be examined. In addition, the situation and motivation of migrant workers will be analysed, including obstacles such as language barriers and the recognition of qualifications.
It also focuses on evaluating the role of migrants in the labour market for skilled workers and their employability. The project aims to propose solutions and best practices, by discussing further training programmes and strategies for recognising qualifications.
It also emphasises the importance of inclusion and diversity at the workplace, highlighting the economic and social benefits of integrating displaced persons.
The project develops policy recommendations and promotes public awareness and dialogue between different countries. It involves local decision-makers, employers, trade unions, migrant organisations and civil society to exchange their respective perspectives. By sharing challenges and opportunities related to the training of workers, the project aims to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion. Overall, the project raises awareness of the challenges faced by migrant workers and emphasises the need for continuous professional development for economic competitiveness and social cohesion in a changing labour market.
