The seminar wants to analyse artificial intelligence and its impacts on the future labour market: more concretely, how the ability of machines to perform tasks and actions that are typical of human intelligence, e.g. planning, language understanding, problem solving, how this ability is changing the labour market. There will be a special focus on the sales and marketing sector and also on the healthcare sector, with a special view to the coronavirus pandemic. Ethical issues concerning the development of artificial intelligence and the question about a re-distribution of wealth will also be discussed.
