Educational Programme

As an educational institution, we offer around 70 seminars a year on a wide range of employee issues, including labor mobility, sustainability and demographic change. It is important to us that the focus is on the whole of Europe. Our educational activities therefore take place in around 30 different countries and in different languages.

We are pleased to present our education program “European Social Dialogue” 2025/2026.

2024 was an eventful year in and for Europe, and 2025 promises to be no less challenging: the elections to the European Parliament, but also in a number of EU member states, have given a boost to political forces that are suspicious of the EU and in some cases even hostile towards it, although the democratic center continues to be the strongest force. It is to be expected that the change of government in the United States of America will have consequences for Europe that cannot yet be foreseen. The effects of climate change are also becoming increasingly visible in Europe, especially in Spain last year. The war in Ukraine is entering its fourth year. The compromise on EU migration policy that was laboriously reached in 2024 already seems to be being called into question again.

All this is truly no easy going to spread confidence and get European competitiveness back on track. This is precisely the focus of the new European Commission “Von der Leyen II”.

As a network of workers' organizations across Europe, we support this new objective. At the same time, we will keep a watchful eye on the upcoming measures: Our task as Christian-oriented workers' organizations is to ensure that the concerns of employees continue to be taken into account. The most important principle of Christian social teaching is to place the human being at the center of all political, economic and social action and to consider him or her both as an individual and as a social being. This must be done especially in these inhospitable times and also with a view to Europe's competitiveness.

The social dialogue can make a decisive contribution to this if the social partners and governments work together successfully. EZA supports these efforts with its education program: with further training, research work, exchange of experience and networking. We are therefore very pleased to present our education program “European Social Dialogue” 2025/26, which, as always, covers a wide range of European topics. But please browse through the pages yourself. If you miss a topic, please feel free to give us feedback. The target group of our training seminars are multipliers from trade unions and socio-cultural workers' organizations, in particular young professionals.

On the following pages, you will find all the information you need to participate in a seminar, including seminar content, project management organizations, seminar locations and dates, and the expected working languages. Please address any questions regarding participation requirements and registration directly to the respective project management organization.

United in our common goal of strengthening the social dialogue in Europe, we look forward to active participation in the training events offered!
