This project focuses on improving labour conditions, fostering collaboration, and supporting the green transition in the road construction sector. It brings together trade union representatives from Croatia, Serbia, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Italy to address shared challenges such as health and safety, labour rights, and workforce shortages.
The seminar will include workshops on best practices in health and safety, labour rights, and enterprise relations in the road construction sector. Participants will develop strategies and recommendations to enhance working conditions, promote social dialogue, and address workforce challenges. Discussions will build on insights from a prior seminar assessing the state of play in the sector, health and safety conditions, and enterprise practices. Networking sessions will facilitate stronger connections among participants and foster future collaboration.
The project aims to promote knowledge sharing and strategic planning to address key issues in the sector. It seeks to improve the sector's attractiveness, develop eco-friendly practices, and enhance resilience through collaboration. The outcomes will contribute to a more sustainable and socially just road construction sector aligned with EU priorities.
