The current coronavirus pandemic has inspired people to rethink what is most important to them and many are discovering that the rapid pace of life, constantly busy exploiting the earth while chasing a dream of prosperity, is not really the source of happiness and meaning. But it is also true that much of what makes life pleasant and safe is based on the entrepreneurial drive to improve everything around us, including the people who live out the creative potential that God has created in us. This is a paradox. The pandemic has further demonstrated what real, essential values are and that money loses the game against solidarity, human warmth and empathy.
