The main activities took place from 8 to 9 September 2020. More than 150 young people took part in the project, including young people from Germany. During the two-day workshops and discussion rounds, the main focus was on the current situation of young people in the context of the prevailing Covid 19 pandemic.
The young participants had the opportunity to acquire skills to enter into international partnerships and implement international projects. The debates also covered the unmasking of fake news on the internet. Experts presented their views on the world after Covid-19 and encouraged participants to get in touch with politicians, experts and CEOs.
In the context of the project, participants were reminded of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the trade union "Solidarność". Among other things, it was shown how young people were fighting for freedom in Poland at that time.
The project aims to open a space for young people to share ideas, inspire colleagues and express opinions on relevant issues.
The project "Promoting #Solid@rność" was co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland within the framework of the Dyplomacja Publiczna 2020 - Nowy Wymiar (Public Diplomacy 2020 - A New Dimension) competition. The project partner was the independent trade union "Solidarność".
