The German Works Council Day has been held annually since 2004. At this nationwide event, works council members meet with experts and leading representatives of social partners and government institutions for public discussion. Over the years, this event has developed into a representative ‘parliament of works councils’.
EZA has not been involved since the beginning, but has been a constant partner for over a decade and is always represented with a stand at the event. This allows EZA to consistently contribute a European perspective and promote European social dialogue in stimulating discussions.
The Works Council Day offers a great opportunity to get to know other works council committees and benefit from their work. The specialist forums provide a wealth of information presented by outstanding speakers. The incredibly inspiring tips available at the market stalls should not be underestimated either.
It is important for EZA to show its colours. Just as the exchange of knowledge is one of the enriching achievements in our network, so too has it been for many years at the Works Council Day.
