EZA-Statement about the Brexit

EZA regrets that the United Kingdom leaves the European Union after 47 years of membership and with it a piece of diversity in the EU.

Thus, we are convinced that the European integration is the right way for Europe. We intend to maintain the collaboration with our British partner, even if there are no more EU-fundings for this type of seminar available.

EZA-President Luc Van den Brande: "It isn’t a good day for Europe that the UK left the EU. We hope that the negotiations on the transition period and afterwards the new relationship between the EU and the UK will be built up in fairness not affecting the position and the rights of the workers.”
