Youth and mobility: new European workers

Deficits in occupational education systems and problems transferring from education to a career have prompted mainly young workers in some central, eastern and south-eastern European countries to leave their countries to build a future in another EU member state. The purpose of this seminar is to identify ways of improving the situation of young workers in their home countries, while also broaching the issue of integrating young workers in the labour markets of the recipient countries and the recognition of job training certificates that were obtained in their home countries.
