Immigration and population growth in Europe. Immigration as a future solution against advancing depopulation? Labour, economic and social conditions to ensure secure and permanent residence of immigrant workers in increasingly depopulated areas

The purpose of this project, which is organised in cooperation with the International Platform for Cooperation and Migration (IPCM), is to sensitise labour representatives to the positive effects of migration into increasingly depopulated rural areas with regard to aspects such as tourism, care for the elderly and agriculture. It also aims to communicate examples of best practices for how workers’ organizations can act as points of contacts and interest representatives of the newly arrived workers in the integration process.
