This project focuses on strengthening workers’ organizations by fostering intergenerational learning and equipping leaders with the skills and tools needed for effective social dialogue. It addresses the challenges of declining participation of young people in trade unions and workers’ organizations and the need to integrate their perspectives and ideas. By combining the experience of older leaders with the innovation of younger ones, the project aims to create a strong foundation for future leadership and collaboration.
Through peer-to-peer and intergenerational exchanges, participants gain practical tools for their daily work in areas such as organizing, outreach, and social protection. The project promotes solidarity between generations, empowering young leaders while motivating older representatives to support them. This approach ensures a stronger voice for young workers and a sustainable basis for social dialogue.
The seminar is structured using the SEE-JUDGE-ACT methodology. Participants first share their experiences, prioritizing the input of young leaders while older representatives observe. They then develop a shared vision, incorporating interview results and collaborative discussions involving all generations. The final phase provides practical tools and workshops, enabling participants to exchange best practices and learn from each other with input from expert moderators.
