The International Platform for Cooperation and Migration (IPCM) was founded on 3 April 2004 by seven members of EZA, EZA itself and the Corporación Laudes, Chile, and the Moroccan branch of CEFA.

Given the urgent need to make a contribution to international solidarity, to promote peace and to establish true social justice among the peoples, the objective of IPCM is to intensify, coordinate and consolidate cooperation in development and migration issues in particular with Mediterranean countries from North Africa and the countries of Central and South America. To this end, IPCM establishes contacts and acts as a bridge between the various partners in Europe, Africa and Latin America. In addition, the platform promotes the development of projects between the partners, for example when it comes to development aid.

In September 2005, a first coordination meeting of Christian social worker organizations from Europe and Latin America was held in Chile. A second meeting took place again in Chile in December 2007.

 
The platform is run by Piergiorgio Sciacqua (MCL) as Chairman and Betina Beate (KAB) as Treasurer. EZA is represented at IPCM by its Deputy Secretary General Francisco Rivas Gómez. Jesús Casado (CST) is a committee member.
